Guarantee services in dentistry
As with all medical services, the diligence of dental work can be guaranteed, but not the success of the medical measures.
If the treating dentist breaches his duty of care, he or his liability insurance will be liable.
The limitation period is 10 years and begins from the completion of the treatment. The situation is different for dental workpieces. In legal terms, this is a contract for work and services and not an order between patient and dentist, as is the case for other treatment. The guarantee for a contract for work and labour is 1 year. This one-year guarantee applies to the contractual relationship between the dentist and dental technician.
Ombudsman's office
Our aim is to always work to your complete satisfaction. If this is not the case, please do not hesitate to contact us. If no solution can be found between the practitioner and the patient, it is possible to discuss the case with the practice's internal ombudsperson. The ombudsperson will assess the situation and will endeavour to find a satisfactory solution.
If there is no agreement here either, there is always the option of contacting the cantonal ombudsman's office.
